House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) speaking in Cleveland, OH yesterday was asked a question about our nations Nuclear waste and how he would propose to deal with it. Boehner said, “We've invested tens of billions of dollars in a storage facility that's as safe as anything we're going to find“, referring to Yucca Mountain.
Nevada Senate candidate Sharron Angle (R-NV) also wants to turn Nevada into the Nations dumping site for Nuclear waste. Having the support of the Minority Leader of the House on her side might help her with the argument on whether Nevada should receive the nations waste.
