Brian Sandoval cancels one debate after impromptu meeting
Brian Sandoval the republican candidate for Governor of Nevada says that he will now cancel one of four planned debates with democratic candidate Rory Reid after the two candidates met at the Nevada Subcontractors Association meeting this past Wednesday at the Eastside Cannery.
Both were scheduled to give separate speeches to the association but Rory Reid goaded Sandoval onto the stage for an impromptu debate.
While at the podium Reid said to Sandoval, “I was wondering if maybe you’d want to have a dress rehearsal?”
Sandoval was shaking his head no, but after some coaxing Sandoval joined him on stage.
