Angle “Friend” request rejected by Nevada Media

This past Sunday Sharron Angle told Fox News that she wants the Media to be her “friend” during an interview with Fox reporter Carl Cameron. She told Cameron that “we needed to have the press be our friend.”.

She went on to tell Cameron that “we wanted them to ask the questions we want to answer so that they report the news the way we want it to be reported.”

Investigative reporter Joe Strupp of Media Matters for America decided to see if Nevada media outlets wanted to be her friend, and allow her to screen question so that they “ask the questions we want to answer”.

Turns out that no media outlets in Nevada were willing to allow Angle to come on their shows under the conditions that Angle demands which included asking for money. But one, KLAS-TV was willing to allow her to “beg” for money, if she would allow them to do an interview without pre-screened questions.
