Nevada receives $1 million to set up Health Insurance Exchange


Fox5 News is reporting that Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) has secured $1 million for Nevada from the Department of Health and Human Services to set up the Health Insurance Exchange program that will take affect in 2014 which allows small business’s and individuals to choose insurance policies at costs that are normally only available to big corporations with a large employee base.

The exchange program is part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act that was signed into law this past March.
